The TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is the English proficiency test most widely accepted in North America and Asia, but is also generally accepted worldwide.
Since July 2006, the University of Mannheim has been an official test center for the TOEFL internet-based test (iBT).
In particular, the test evaluates language proficiency in the academic field.

The TOEFL iBT® is the leading English language test, trusted by over 13,000 universities and institutions across more than 160 countries. Whether for academic, immigration, or visa purposes, this test effectively measures academic English skills.
Price in Germany: $265.00
Alignment with CEFR:
TOEFL scores align with levels A2 to C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), providing institutions with a clear understanding of your English proficiency in an academic context.
Promotion: $30 off the TOEFL iBT test, valid until January 15th.

Results: Get your scores quickly! Results are available within 4 to 8 days only!
The certificate is valid for two years.
Procedure TOEFL test
Test Duration: The total test duration is 1 hour and 56 minutes ( but it’s recommended to plan for at least 2.5 hours to allow for check-in).
Test Structure:
- Reading: 35 minutes, 20 questions
Read passages and answer questions.
- Listening: 36 minutes, 28 questions
Respond to questions based on brief lectures and classroom discussions.
- Speaking: 16 minutes, 4 tasks
Discuss familiar topics and respond to material you’ve read and heard.
- Writing: 29 minutes, 2 tasks
Read a passage, listen to a recording, and type your response. You’ll need to state and support an opinion in an online classroom discussion.

Registration for the test is only possible via the official TOEFL website.
